Woofrani vision

One of the things I like to do is come up with alien races, and I decided that one of these races, the wolf-like Woofrani, are almost entirely colorblind (evolving as they did from wolf-like creatures). The two types of cells in their eyes register red and blue+green, which means they can distinguish red from other colors (an evolutionary advantage if your blood is red; you can see from a distance if your prey or enemy is wounded).
As a way of improving my C# skills, I created a simple program that takes in any supported image and manipulates it to make it look the way Woofrani would see it. Red is left alone, but blue and green are averaged together.
These are the results.
I believe the Woofrani are also far-sighted, and may have poorer central visual accuity than humans (a drawback to having a tapetum lucidum (the reflective layer at the back of mammalian eyes)), but I have no idea how to create a program that would simulate this effect.

Also nice work on this for showing the difference in the color blindness and the far sightedness. I like how the bottom pic the tiles are a bit faded and almost merged together and certain details are missing on the ground.
Very good work ^^
