A disease that rots flesh has been released somewhere in Indiana. The disease has spread quickly, but some people who have not been infected still remain. This was meant to be taken from a hungry "zombie " wolf's view. The humans have launched a flare as a signal to other survivors that they are close by with food. I guess that the signal was seen by more than just humans in the small town of Churubusco.
