Surprised I never uploaded this. @_@ Based off of Boticelli's 1486 rendition of, well, the birth of Venus, even though Bouguereau's (much later) piece was waaaaay better. I categorized it as fanart since, even though Aphrodite/Venus aren't copyrighted, everyone and their dog rips off Boticelli's not-entirely-anatomically-correct painting at -some- point in their artistic lives. Anywho, this was done back when I clearly didn't understand composition. Back in the day. Couple years ago. Coloring's pretty solid, though. That clam has an eyeball. Tiny pegasi.
