Whenever I'm not fully satisfied with a pic, I console myself with the knowledge that effort is what really makes art...

My Gargoyles fan-character Shank. First time I've really properly drawn her. She's a badass and deserves to be drawn more, but she's so hard for me to draw haha... I need to get better.

For what its worth I'm amazed at the perspective. cities are best as distant lights for the most part, especially visually ;D Great background, wow....
I used to love that show :P

Thanks n_n I have a soft rule for myself to draw at least one 'big' picture a month, so I can look back at the year and be sort of proud? Haha. Backgrounds can be a pain, but also sort of soothing once you get into it... as long as you don't fuck it up...

I hope that's a good omg! Looking back I feel I could have done better, but I think I'll just keep in mind what I learned for the next piece. >_> Sometimes you just get so sick of a drawing haha oh well.
