After an embarrassingly long wait, I'm happy to present the full-colour version of the Birthday picture I made for Zee-Zee!
Above is a surveillance photo taken of one Zoom-Zoom the Squirrel AKA "Zee-Zee" on the eve of October 13th, just moments before he was pounced upon by a quartet of unknown assailants.
Mr. Squirrel's attackers forcibly pinned him to the ground where he was snuggled and hugged for the next 75-minutes as well as being subjected to occasional tickling and tummy rubs. "They made me miss the potty!" accused the young squirrel as his mother, Zena Squirrel, finished taping him into a clean fluffy diaper.
The Squirrel family has offered a reward of 1/3 of a cookie for any information leading to the apprehension of those responsible for this heinous crime. While none of the current leads have panned out, Zed and Zena Squirrel have somehow managed to rule out dinosaurs, ninjas, transformers, and UFOs as culprits...
In any case, despite the vicious attack he endured, Zee-Zee enjoyed a wonderful Birthday being showered with gifts, affection, and attention by his many friends. The only downsides were Kaffre, Lig, Prav, and Sierra being sentenced to (suspiciously lengthy) Time-Outs after tracking mud and leaves into the house and the inevitable tummy aches brought on by consuming excessive quantities of cake, ice creams, and candy!

Very cool and clever, Kaffre. I'm right now on an "eye test" run, but will comment again once I have my screen reader up and can read the story. :) From what I can see thus far, though, it is a great piccie and I love the way Zee-Zee looks so perplexed. His asking of they are "louder today" suggests this isn't the first time he's experienced fline mischief. :)

In my imagining one or more kittens have been watching Zee-Zee's house since early October, planning for their pal's birthday pouncing, but I can definitely see Lig or Prav taking the opportunity for other pranks at their friend's expense - Kaffre, of course would never stoop so low... *looks innocent*
