Veronica without her fursuit on.
A brief history of this character...
~ She was born an arctic fox, to a cruel mother who wanted a boy.
~ Her mother named her "Chiyra" meaning "useless girl" in their language
~ She was renamed "Veronica" by wolf-man who took pity on the neglected child (after his mother).
~ She was thrown into a dry well shaft as a sacrifice to the bird god Darknyss by her mother, who demanded from the god eternal life in return (he gave her no such thing).
~ She broke her spine on the fall and would surely die anyway, so the god offered to possess her instead... it was the only way they could both be free of the underground.
~ Her origonal body decayed away despite her best efforts, as Darknyss was a god of decay and shadows (all that was left besides bones were her eyes, hair, and brain).
~ Those things (hair, eyes) were dyed purple from the same magical substance (from the god) that also holds her bones together.
~ She was able to get an alchemist to lengthen her bones with added calcium and other minerals, to make her more of the height of an adult.
~ She has to sew new fursuits for herself every so often.
~ She uses real fur from the deceased.
~ She's allergic to direct sunlight (shade is fine, as are overcast days)
p.s. I'm not a medical illustrator. So if you want to nitpick on the number/placement/size of bones, draw me a better one yourself!

one of the most creepiest things I have ever seen. Having a bird living in your ribcage, uh , I don't know how I could have lived like that. But since the bird, Darknyss, is a god, obviously Veronica and the god manages to live well, neverless.
That's beautifully done well. I love the mangy-feather texture and dark colors of the wings, which is fiting for a god of decay.

Oh, right, undead. I forgot. Well, cleary I am not undead so I could not realte well to it.
Anyway, you are welcome for my comment earlier. Oh, and I forgot to mention how your god-type characters often seem to leave tragic orunhappy origin stories, though the slight exception of Moero/Fyre being the often funny girl of the group, and Del being purely evil.
