This is the logo for a fictional American association football team in my universe, Colossus Football Club (Colossus FC).

Sports actually plays quite a big part in my universe. For example, my character Ruth is a big fan of her hometown Boston teams, and Cynthia's former boyfriend Vic de Veeres eventually plays in the pro football league where the Polars are. Originally I had my characters involved with real teams, like the Boston Red Sox and the New York Giants. However, I discovered I had a penchant for making up cool team names, and decided to go with wholly fictional teams.

Inter New York plays in New Jersey (near the American football stadium, in my universe's version of the Meadowlands) They are coloquially known as the Coppergreens and the Torches (after their logo). They are named after the Statue of Liberty.

Colossus's sponsor is Harrenson Bank. The bank name is a bit of a joke, since their name sounds a lot like the German word for "son of a bitch" (which accurately describes a lot of bankers) and their logo is a fat cat. Their cross-town rivals are Inter New York.
