This is the logo for a fictional American association football team in my universe, New York International Football Club (Inter New York).

Sports actually plays quite a big part in my universe. For example, my character Ruth is a big fan of her hometown Boston teams, and Cynthia's former boyfriend Vic de Veeres eventually plays in the pro football league where the Polars are. Originally I had my characters involved with real teams, like the Boston Red Sox and the New York Giants. However, I discovered I had a penchant for making up cool team names, and decided to go with wholly fictional teams.

Inter New York plays in New Jersey (near the American football stadium, in my universe's version of the Meadowlands) They are coloquially known as the Green and Blacks, the Unispheres (after their logo). Their name is a traditional European football name (Italy's Inter Milan being the most prominent example), but it fits New York's status as an international city.

Inter New Yorks.'s sponsor is Turner Stores, owned by billionaire and werecat witch Cynthia Turner, a prominent character in my universe. This is also the club that Ray and Lacey support. Their cross-town rivals are Colossus FC, with whom they share a stadium.
