Jinie, the GuMiHo/KuMiHo. A korean ninetailed fox, who unlike the Japanese ninetailed fox, isn't mischievous at all. Just, vicious. They eat men's livers, and consume souls to a.) replenish tails or b.) become human themselves.

a.) replenish tails- Eat corrupt people's souls, or just go searching endlessly for their tails.

b.) it has to be someone they love/care for deeply. Which is so sucky/bittersweet sort of end to he magic.

Jinie was another character from a story way back, about the Italian and the Yakuza, and some other gangs. I kept stumbling over what to call her, her assassin's calling. And It hit me a few days ago while watching a Korean drama with my sister. GuMiHo's are pretty badass. Let's do that.

And to make it better, she's a fox lacking a number of her tails. She has to earn them back by taking lives to protect her Mistress Eun Hye/Yun Hee. Blah.
