heehee. glad you like it. I've been having fun with casting. i stopped sculpting for a long while and started up again recently just with these little medallion and pins and such but the smorlando thing gave me an idea for casting chocolate in my molds. and I love your art n stuff.

oh yea. food porn style except it was hard lighting it. i needed the shadows to show the depth of the sculpt and the chocolate was really dark and the marshmallows were really light. i wish i had more lighting and used a neutral density filter or something.

heh. thanks, I saw your pic. I wasn't sure how I wanted to do the chocolate sculpt but opted for the face medallion because it would be hard to do a whole body and the details would get obscured and just look like a mess

Though I'm totally curious what you used for the mold as that came out so well if you don't mind me being nosy. :3

platinum cure silicone. nice and flexible so you can demold and keep all the details. not cheap stuff though. I still sculpted rather flat with minimal sharp details because i was working with chocolate and didn't want any details melting while i was trying to handle/take photos.
