This was back when angrboda decided to try out streaming, and put a ludicrously low price point on her artwork. Meitheal, being the kind of amazing person she is, decided she'd buy first, and figure out the details later. Long story short, one lunatic commissioned another lunatic to draw this lunatic, and it was good.

The artist was told to just make something neat and not worry about details; the only explicit directions were shortening the fingers on the left hand to make it more clearly a paw, the bit of blood, and the little book on her hip (which I note now with some amusement is far too tiny for her big wolfy hand there). I love how it turned out; Balina is supposed to be big, bulky, and sort of confusing. Combining the two species will always be a challenge, and Angrboda did a wonderful job of hammering this together in a remarkably short period of time.
