A replica of the first recorded European and discovering of Australia; called the Duyfken. A Dutch ship that ran down the West coast of Australia in 1606 and faithfully reconstructed in the 90s; completing a return voyage to the Netherlands in the 2000s. It came back about a month ago after ten years of sitting around in Europe; sailed all the way back, 98% of the journey done without the engine. Amazing/terrifying to think of discovering and traveling the world in something that small with hardly any navigational aids.
