err, yeah, only i've been pondering it for a few years, actually. Its a thicker type of natural armor on my chest, belly, groin and tail. What i'm not sure about is how the plates (which are large) would slide between each other and still allow a lot of mobility. And my current design looks a little too much like TMNT, which isn't the most logical of subjects. X) I'll figure it out, i guess. = )

I love that you are showing your work and which ones go with the prices listed. Now, I've noticed on the last two examples you have a difference with the fur/feather, and the fur & feather. Are you using the "prices will increase accordingly*" Are you saying that based on backgrounds or the size of the image?

Well, I'm thinking of being ambitious and going for the $120 commission, but maybe you can take a look at the scraps I uploaded for my character (including past session notes for the previous and concepts for the upcoming campaign) - basic character design minus the obligatory Great Kilt. (I don't have any other uploads)

I'm thinking of a full-body character illustration with background - something like the illustrations in the D&D 4E manual - to capture both the look and feel of the character. Of course, I'm crazy, so I'll defer to your expertise on what's possible :P

So until then, I just wanted to say your artwork is very stunning, very magical. It's hard not to click your advertisement with the beautiful scale and feather detail. Whatever you do to make the colors glow works wonders as well.
