SANDWORM!!! MWAHAHA!!
A Saturn Sandworm from the movie Beetlejuice. TEH BEST HALLOWEEN MOVIE EVAH!!
My first large painting in a LOOOONG while. I thought 'coz Halloween's in a couple of weeks, I'd do a poster-sized painting of a Sandworm from Beetlejuice.
Just finished it a couple of minutes ago.
I did the background first, this time, and penciled in the sandworm over the background after the paint dried. Then, once I did all the layers and highlights, I added the blood for more of a Halloween-y feel.
I guess it just finished eating Beetlejuice again ;P
Did I tell you I love how this turned out? Well, now I did! Mawhaw!!
I actually had to pause the movie to study the sandworm and get the colours the right shade. Ach, it was worth it. I even got the two moons in there(one's behind the sandworm's head)

It's done, Alas, I keep forgetting it at work(I tried to scan it in at work last monday, to no avail), but I'll MAKE SURE to bring it home tomorrow night, so's I can scan it into my computer with my scanner and post it, full colour and all.

Omfg yes Beetlejuice ;U; I named my fursona Beetlejuice.. I love that movie so much. vuv Burton keeps his films down to a certain time period in a lot of his stuff, and I liked how 'Beetlejuice' didn't have Lydia taking pictures with an iPhone. :P
