OK this might not be the most exciting picture i've taken, but a few of my friends have asked about what my job entails. So this is one of the major parts of my job ... prepicking! *yawn*

Basically each week day i print out the following three days booking records, and look up, book out and pick the parts for whatever job we have coming in. I then get it boxed up and store them on my prepick shelf. So when the vehicle comes in for its work the technician only needs to call out there job number and i can give them the service parts they need straight away.

Since we've had no parts system since Friday I managed to get Monday and Tuesday prepicks done and prepped, so at least i have a head start for next week.
