Here we go. This only reflects places that have been revealed in the story. I will eventually make and post a complete map with all the available places for those who like Roleplaying in said world, but that would contain some spoilers so that will come a little later at least. I still intend to make a simple political map to show boundaries as they exist now.
There is so much of this world left to explore!
This map was hand-drawn and colored painstakingly in Paint Tool Sai
Let me know if there are any questions. It's easy to forge tto post something when the map's in your head!
A Poster-Sized version is available upon request.

It would appear that Furaffinity automatically scales down large images... which is bad for an image that needed to be large. For those who need to read the smaller place names, let me know, I can email the map to you, unless someone knows how to get it to let me show the correct-sized version.
Crushed Velvet was a five chapter mini series, and has concluded. :3
I am writing a scifi series for Sexyfur (there are six chapter so far) called Rocks in the Dark. It's about someone sent to an asteroid mining colony to work, only to find out it's not the kind of colony he had intended, and civilization on his homeworld starts to collapse, leaving him stuck there with four crazy women.

Can you explain a bit about this world here? I'm going to be running a D&D campaign soon, and I freaking love this layout, and I'd love to hear more about the world for some inspiration. I'd also like to know just how you made this map and where you drew inspiration from in it's creation.
No easy task. I have been writing about this world for over ten years now on Sexyfur.com.
Tech level is medieval to nearly steam-punk depending on the location and people.
The best known area to the readers in the Kingdom of Amani, an area controlled by wolves. The capital is Diera. The royal family is a more rare group of lupines called the Emerald Amanians. They are called this because their normally gold or white colored fur is green because of being heavily tied to the essence, as an offshoot of the Letai. Essence is the "magic" of this world, or how people understand that. I can explain that too if you like, but if you are just using the map for a D&D campaign, all the rules of magic are already established, so that probably won't be neccessary.
The Letai were wiped out by a war 700 years ago, and controlled a lot of the continent, but now only a few remain, hidden from the enemy for now. The main enemy to this world is in Gize. He controls an army of artificial minions (The Uruk) made of bone, clay, blood, and enchanted crystals. They look like short, squat, rotund golems. The more crystals they have, the more abilities they have. They work as if by simple AI control, but can "reports" back to their master if the information is important enough (like being killed). They have pushed out almost all of civilization from the eastern side of the eastern continent.
The Asuna are a hyena-like people, rugged, more primitive than the medieval-to renaissance-level Amani Kingdom. They are closer to Mayan culture as far as their tech-level. Both the Amani and the Asuna are HEAVILY matriarchal. Males, under the right circumstances, can even be kept as slaves. The Asuna are barbaric toward the Amani, and will fight them when encountered. They have burned down the main city several times already, though not in some time. The Asuna are enslaved by the enemy, however, as it's the only way they will survive, but their numbers are dwindling because every first child is sent to work in the mines. It's a short, painful, unfortunate existence, but they have to mine the materials used to make the enemy's army of Uruk. The enemy is responsible for the strife between the Asuna and the Amani cultures.
In other locations, barely mentioned in the story thus far, are the Lhap islands, inhabited by tribal mildly seafaring foxes. (simple, happy folk in two varieties, normal-looking anthro foxes, usually grey, sometimes red in color), and fennec-type, shorter with massive ears of course.
The Val Rasha are black vulpines with a combination magic/tech society, but are highly isolationist, and only one is known in the story. The Amani and Asuna do not even know of the Val Rashan Empire's existence. They have never traveled that far, though the Letai hundreds of years ago had.
The Lapine territories are also unexplored. The Lapines, rabbits, are very xenophobic, and avoid all contact with the other peoples of the world.

As for how I made the map, it was drawn with a tablet in Paint Tool Sai, and the look of the world was in my head already from descriptions of places in both the story itself, and in role-play done with friends. This map took about six hours or so to make, and is my first attempt at making such a thing. It's a complex and dynamic place still open to discovery and change. I do not mind if people use the map in planning out role play and the like, but if you public work, be it writing, art, or comics base don the world or my stories, let me know first. Published works I would prefer to keep at least canon to the story. I have five chapters of the story here. There are nearly four books total on Sexyfur, however. The story is extremely adult in nature.
Let me know if there is anything else you would like to know. :3

Don't worry about me stealing this map or anything like that! I am just looking for ideas and inspiration; not to take other's own. I have a rough idea worked out for my campaign; it's not a furry thing though. I am not too keen on the idea of a furry game with my father. =X
So far, what I have is a few nations set with ideas; I am not sure what the nations are to be called though, but I do have names for capital cities.
Vim - They're basically the standard medieval kingdom; it's ran by feudalism and it has a human king. Humans have always been heavy in this land and, as anyone from Vim would argue, it is also where humans in neighboring nations started out. There are dwarves and other races in this country, but they are not in control of the surface world; that belongs almost exclusively to the humans. The elves in the nation don't even bother to leave their forests, wishing not to deal with the stingy humans or other races. This is not to say the humans here are bad people, but in a worldly sense, they are the lesser educated, the less accepting, but also the most strong willed. They have nothing but the strength of their axes and swords to back them up, along with their iron will. No one is as fiercely loyal or as strong as someone from Vim, no matter what race they are. If you can gain their trust, you've gained a powerful ally. That said, the humans of Vim also disdain magic, thinking it taints one by making them think they are mightier than they are.
"Take away your books and my swords, and I will best you. No matter how much you have read, when you are without magic, I will be with strength of body and soul."
Ardor - This nation is all but the exact opposite of Vim. This nation was founded by a single wizard from Vim, long ago, and his disciples. Nearing his twilight, his disciples felt the world could not do without a man such as this wizard, whose name has been lost to time. His students proposed a ritual that would anchor the soul of the wizard to this world. The wizard reluctantly accepted, knowing that if he did not, it would mean certain war without his presence, and he would've been right. The prince of Vim, soon to be king, was a far more crueler man than his father; he would see his land purged of all nonhuman races and beyond. As a result, the wizard became immortal, and with his new found power, stood as a wall between the prince and his conquest. The wizard founded a nation as a safe haven for all who feared oppression for things outside of their control. The nation is now a fully race neutral place and ran by elected officials who form councils in what many would call a beautiful web of order and peace. Ardor stands for progress, knowledge, order, peace, and unity. To this day, the wizard rules the nation, upholding the ideals of many, many years ago.
It almost sounds too perfect, but this is where I throw in the curveball. The wizard's soul was anchored to a mask, not a body. Bodies rot and decay, but a mask does not. As a result, the mask must be worn by a host who is willing to surrender their body and will to the wizard, who has earned the title of "The Zeal" for his literal undying conviction. As time passes, the Zeal's body will die, and a new host must be found. People volunteer to surrender themselves to this mask, seeing it as a privilege and the ultimate good they can give their nation to ensure it's continued, peaceful, prosperous existence. My brother has fondly called the Zeal "a fancy lich".
"We are made from the many, but we stand as one. It is not our physical differences that make us men, but our conviction and will. It is we who decide our fate, not our fate who decides who we are."
Suffrage - This nation, admittingly, is based off of Rome. It is lead by a king or queen, and below them is an elected council, though it is usually only those with power that can vote on who is placed in the senate (aka, land owners, store owners, rich people, etc). This nation typically stands for equality and freedom, though both are facades. While the law states one thing, it is at the discretion of those with power and money on what happens here. Most people do not see through the facade though, and many flock here for it's peaceful and appealing message. Why not go to Ardor, some may ask. The answer is simple; those from Ardor seem weird and almost alien. Those in Ardor live in a nation where their leader is a soul in a mask who takes over the bodies of those who willing surrender themselves.
In Suffrage, no man is slave to another (allegedly). In Suffrage, they delight in sport and entertainment as well, such as gladiatorial fights or great displays of physical power; these are also convenient to distract the mob while those in power have their way with the land. It is a good nation to be in, as long as it's profitable. There is a careful balance between underworld and overworld here, You can find the darkest of criminals and the brightest of scholars. Trade all seems to come to Suffrage as well, so you can taste the silks and wines from foreign lands while reaping the rewards that come from living here.
"We are a nation of prosperity. We are a nation of great diversity, not a nation which has lost all it's culture or a nation that has closed itself off to the world. One could go as far to say that we are, indeed, the world."
There are other groups I am working on, such as a more oriental nation and there are several tribes which I want to have in place as well. I still haven't totally figured out the climate of each nation; I feel Vim would be more of a mountainous, somewhat isolated place while Suffrage would benefit greatly from living near or even on the ocean. Ardor could literally be anywhere, but when I think of them, I tend to imagine they would be nearer to the equator, so to speak. I imagine the type of intellectual boom from the ancient middle-east when I think of Ardor, so I also tend to imagine the city would be warmer, and possibly near a desert; a literal oasis, so to speak.

An impressive map Sarsis, I greatly appreciate the effort that went into this.
It's nice to see where Alps and company have been up to this point in the story and where they are headed to for that matter as well. Most interesting to me however is the revelation of the homeland of a certain mysteriously aloof character hanging around.
I hope Alps has a map like this available to him. With the way things are going might be wise to keep track of all his progress, less inbreeding isn't a major concern for the future ALL people on the planet.
