This week's Woot Derby theme is monsters, aliens, and robots. I just happened to have a zombie flamingo laying around from an earlier project. I added some color and tossed it on a t-shirt.
One of the reasons I am doing these, is to learn more about how to use Photoshop and Illustrator. I use them every day in my day-jobbe, but it's mostly product design and Industrial design. We use it as sort of a "lite" CAD program. I am really fast with line work, but not much else.
In this design, I learned how to do color flats, and how to set the black line art layer to "multiply" so that the color shows through.
Anyway, you know the routine. The link will take you to the page with my submission, click on the blue "I'd want that" button to vote. To be eligible to vote, you must have an account with woot, and have purchased something from them in the past.
Thanks!
