DARKER! DARKER!
A certain ottah (whose name will be withheld to protect the guilty coughcoughleileicough) posted a journal asking for help ("Not much to do, really") with a piece of art, and, since I'm a sucker nice guy, I volunteered.
The original idea was to take the original (left) and darken the light bits to match the base fur (second from left, hand colored using the color tool in GIMP). "Not bad, but could it be darker?" H'm. OK. (center, ibid, using a darker shade.) "Actually, what I had in mind was a sorta solid chonklit color!" (gnashing of teeth, custom masking layer, chonklit color transparency overlay) "Say, could you emphasize her boobehs? They've kind of disappeared!" (AIIIIIEEEEEE!) ('nother overlay to emphasize the boobehs) "Perfect!"
Annyhoo, I got clearance to show the progression as a miniposter, as I thought it'd interest the viewers as a look behind the scenes! A fun and educational experience all around!

Well, even if it took you several takes, you certainly did a very wonderful job on this lovely specimin of otterness, miss coughcoughleileicough =^_^=

You know, that's a nasty cough you have there, Major. You may need to have that looked at. T'is the season for colds and such, and we wouldn't want it to turn into a pneumonia, now would we? =~.^=
