It started out as a small itch, the kind everyone commonly experienced from time to time. Something that the girl paid no heed to, not until the itch intensfied into a dry sensation. Disbelief crossed her features in the instant that she noticed green scales erupting over her hands. Not even allowing Miss Watson to elicit a scream within the time it took her fingers to sprout claws. She flexed the digits with morbid curiousity; despite the hard leathery scales, they were just as easy to move as they'd always been.
