This is Corey Allen, a German Shepherd mix. A student at furry Underwood University and member of the basketball team there, he graduated last spring and is now "on the cusp" in the Furry Basketball Association draft. So good on him.~

The ghost of Ned Underwood continues to shine down on his storied university. Once again, one of the finest college athletics programs in the furry world is set to deliver gifted young talent to the FBA. Corey Allen is every bit an Underwood grad. From a tough puppyhood spent in ten different foster homes, this battered mongrel had gotten no breaks in life when he was accepted into Underwood's basketball program. Possessing a height and build that was natural to the sport, he still struggled to be effective, as it was clear personal demons kept him from being fully ready for the sport psychologically. He was blessed to have come into the school surrounded by such fine talent as current FBA stars Theodore Sanftner (Prairie Dog, G, SPO), Wescot Yobia (Binturong, F, IDA) and Bailey Brisbane (Catahoula Leopard Hound, G, HNT). With help from Underwood's world-class coaching staff and his supportive teammates, the mutt from Rhode Island gradually learned to be an effective player. His game is very simple, relying on a tiny arsenal of plays are mostly built around his height and strength. And most coaches will see that as a huge liability. But on the other hand, he was the #1 scoring player for his Underwood team in his senior year, so simple the tricks may be, but they're effective. There's a question if he'll be able to compete against the pro-level D of the FBA, but he's willing to try, and he's already proven that he'll do what it takes to learn.
