That would be a GM single wire alternator with v-belt pulley.

Wow. Cant wait to see that rollin up to Megaplex. Hehehe. Though it making it to AC? Hmmmmm only if you get the Lucas out of it. Im guessing the engine had hardened valve seats? Or do you have to put a lead additive in when you fill it up?

Oh you mean the lousy Lucas-made electrical system that I've heard many British cars had? That's why ther were equipped with removeable starting cranks well into the 1960s! American cars had done away with cranks at least by 1920.

1980 spit so it'll be a 1500. Four speed manual, overdrive optional. 71bhp from a 1493cc four pot engine, top speed 100mph. Nice car, shame you're missing the detachable hard top. I see your car's a lefty so has it got the chrome bumpers?
