I think Unny could be a little bit more understanding of around here. Imagine you getting bombarded by furs, not knowing what they were! Chicagoans will like furs, once they understand them.

Pittsburgh was VERY open to us, certainly confused a lot of people and probably pissed off a good many restaurants and food stops with our absolute overloading of their businesses ]X8D but they liked us and were more accepting even the next year. Unny told me a story though regarding a fur that went to his school, but I don't know how much is just rumor or not, though he seemed upset enough by it.

We were in Tre Cena Restaurant, eating, when a guy at the next table inquired about FurFest. There were five gentlemen sitting there, and we proceeded to explain (in a little detail) about it. After we were done, they were so much more jovial about us. And one guy wanted me to introduce him to a fursuiter, which I did. Seems to me the BEST way to make the fandom grow is to be a willing Ambassador.

Yeah, there was a (drunk) woman at AC some of us were stopped by and she was curious about it. We explained it all as best we could, she was very nice about it and appreciated it <3 I'd imagine most people are good people, they just need a little knowledge to break the confusion.
