Your tree bark is to die for, it's just so gorgeous.

I'd kick back on that hillside in a heartbeat. Crunchy prickly leaves are my favorite, along with cold sweet breezes tinged with woodsmoke.

Woodsmoke! YES. I absolutely love that smell :)

I used to dread Autumn due to our extreme lack of Summers the last few years, as soon as I felt it start to get cold I would know that Summer had no chance of appearing. It was the end of hope to someone who really loves the heat.
This year however, I finally got to enjoy Summer the way it should be and Autumn has been thoroughly welcomed. I am finally in the mood for some cosy, cold weather and can finally enjoy the changes in lighting, the winds, colours and wonderful smells. Not forgetting some of the greatest events of the year such as Halloween, Guy Fawkes and all the glorious Autumn festivals!
I love this piece, I can really understand how you/your character feels about this season! Very good painting as usual!

Well some times your characters trick you into changing things about them even small things. Maybe she was like, "You know what I would look cuter with ears, You are gonna draw me with ears." She looks cute, and I love Autumn, but not so much the cold. But I think I am growing to like it more.

Haha, I live in New England too and Fall is definitely my favorite season. (Maybe I'm a little biased because my birthday is in the Fall, but still!)

THAT BARK! Did you intend it to look like there was an owl in the bark? Because it looks like there's an owl perched there as a part of the bark. SO COOL! FAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!

Ohhh I see it now! Hahah no, that was unintentional! But that's okay :D Owls are awesome.

Having moved away from new york to the west coast I REALLY miss this season, i agree it's always been my favorite and always the best! Thanks for this little reminder, I can taste the air now!

I miss autumn so much! Florida is such a boring state when it comes to seasons. It still feels like summer here.

This is so beautiful though! I love the leaves and I think she looks good with ears.

Wow. Drawing trees and nature scenes is one of my favorite subjects. This is just absolutely gorgeous.

At least one plus side to being a truck driver, is that i get to see much more landscaping with different takes on autumn progressive.

Still, i wish i could be at home, sitting along the bench outside the at the Hudson Jaycees building, and spending the time enjoying the outdoor's like i used too.

Lovely piece, especially the softnesss of the foliage! Am I seeing things, or are there a few hidden faces in the bark?
