Back in 12th grade when I was 18 I painted a picture that looked slightly like this picture but was much more lackluster. I decided I really wanted to redo it now that I have improved over the past 2 and a half years and decided to whip this baby out. Took me a few hours, most of the time was spent on the coloring and positioning everything to make it look right. And I drew it with my shiny new tablet that works wonders compared to my old one.

The moon actually wasn't originally there. In my first draft I went through and had the ARK in the background with some set pieces from final rush and final chase floating around but I ended up just taking it out.

Then it felt to empty with them just floating around in space so I was going to re-add the ARK but as I was drawing that it slowly became the moon and decided "ehh, i'll blow up the moon again", and it happened.

I'm really happy with how it turned out, And yes I used a stock image for the background, screw drawing stars I tried and it looked dumb XD

For true story is the name of the song that pays when you fight shadow [or sonic] for the last time outside the ARK on the sinking platforms. I just thought it fit -shrug-
