I found my annual October animal.
Every year for the past three years I've found an animal in October. The last two years they were kittens. This year? A dog!
She was absolutely adorable and happy~ I love beagles. ;w; and yes, I used my belt as a leash.
She was well-fed and not too skittish, and also very clean, so I bet she probably got lost this past few days. Beagles are notorious for chasing something and getting lost as a result.
I took her to the shelter because I can't keep pets at my dorm and a dog is a bit hard to hide. There are three days before she's up for adoption so I'm putting up flyers in hopes that her original family claims her first!
I really wish I could have kept her, or at least fostered her so there wasn't so much of a time crunch...
Silly little butterball. ;w;

She's young and cute, so will probably find a family to adopt her if her original family isn't found (or doesn't want her). As long as I can figure out transportation (AZ), I'd be willing to take her in if she doesn't successfully adopt. If you want to send me the shelter info, I can talk to them about it (or I could go through you if you want).
