It's the end of the world as we know....
At least for that dragon here it is. What you see here is a scene of my series 'The Time Traveller', the first chapter can be found here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/6033161/ .
But the scene is not exactly mentioned, just at one point it is mentioned that there has been a nuclear echange in Southern Asia, and here we see an unfortunate dragon witnessing as two entire cities disappear into vapor.
I know a pretty drastic sight, but let me tell you, when I've written the story, I've been inspired by actual political and economical situations, and let my mind think of how the world could look in the future. Just let's hope I am not right.

Dragons luckily are much more resistant to infrared-radiation, but not radioactivity, luckily at least for that dragon the wind was blowing away from him so he survived. Another reason why there were no dragon bones found after the nuclear exchange, was simply that no dragons lived near any human settlement there, this dragon was just passing by.
Yeah, I truly hope it will stay fiction.
