Image 1 of 2.
Was bored last night and decided to go back to the old LMG9 model I had and do some overhauling.
1.) Barrett type buttstock
2.) New Sight
3.) Handle for when changing the barrel is needed
4.) Bottom rail with fore grip and bipod.
They all add a bit of extra detail to it and I think I'm finally satisfied with this model to allow for it to no longer be subject to any further tinkering. I might however hit up the 20 gauge Centurion and add all these changes to it as well. *shrug*
"IF" I recall correctly this was chambered in 7.62mm (haven't figured up what kind) and the box mag contains roughly 200 rounds. Its belt fed and with the fore grip and bipid the shooter is able to manage his platform better while prone or moving through the dark alleys of some hostile territory with his or her squad.
I've been watching way too much Black Hawk Down... I LOVE those MG's thow 2 guys are using, where one ends up deafening the other from shooting so close to his head. Think they were M60's but might be wrong.

Enjoy~
EDIT: Though I know I don't really 'need' to say it and that it should be common sense, no reposting my models anywhere unless given permission, and don't lie about being given permission. I know who I give permission to and thats only a VERY small handful of folks.

Alright, and I can agree. I've heard they're really heavy when loaded up completely but despite that fact it'd still be cool to have one to bring out and be all "check out what I have." But suppose as far as war guns go I can be contempt with my fathers Nagant.
I believe while the US 'has' phased it out a bit its still somewhat used and other countries I believe are using it still as well. Seem to think either England or Britains navy or some such are using some still.

I like all of them really, but the reason I like the mk48 is because its almost an exact clone of the tactical 249 but chambered in the .308 cartridge and keeps the 249s ease of use, mobility and modularity. ROF is close too. The cool thing is you can swap the barrel and bolt and shoot belts of .223 as well as M16 mags. FN is making them.
