Alexstrasza Plush (FOR SALE!)
*EDIT!* I forgot to mention, if you do happen to win this please let me know, and I will draw you a sketch of the character to be shipped along with the plush (Or sketch a dragon of your choice from WoW !)
I am selling my gorgeous one of a kind Alexstrasza plush (The dragon from World of Warcraft), handmade by the extremely talented
atateatarin (seriously, check out her shyte!)!
I am rather sad to let it go, but I am in need of money for bills, and as I am no WoW fan I know there would be plenty of others out there that would give her a much more loving home!
Ebay auction can be found here! - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=321003747396
There is a reserve price on her, as I will only sell her for what I paid. But hopefully someone will adopt her!
Chibi is by by myself XD Couldn’t help it, I do love the characters design haha.

I went down to the post office and they actually quoted me $38 (boxed), so I was pretty close XD. Once I figure out how, ill be editing the listing to say I will also offer to send it in a bubble wrap tough bag as a cheaper option (that’s quoted at around $24). I just prefer to send in actual boxes as it is more secure, but as this is a plush it should be OK in a tough bag also!
I'd ask you guys to stop now :) This is how bidding works, and considering I have well over $700 in bills to pay I hope it goes high!
Not only that, but this plush took Tari weeks to construct, half of the cost it is now already was poured into its materials. Not to mention the hours of pattern making, sewing and so on.
It is worth every cent it may go for, and your comments are doing nothing but de-valuing her hard work and slinging mud at bidders that are just trying to win a lovely artwork, and helping support me :/

I'm going to have to second this. For anyone wondering, I am the artist who made this plush.
I understand that it's disappointing and frustrating when you have to miss out on something because someone came along with more money, and I've been in that position more times than I care to recall as a toy collector. There has always been someone with more money and so better access to nice or exclusive things, and it's damn hard not to feel resentful of that fact sometimes. Heck, I am constantly resenting the fact that folks in America get access to great exclusive things that we never see here in Australia, where we're forced to pay hideous aftermarket prices. But I also don't go around slagging off people who were able to get them at retail just because circumstances favoured them and not me.
What is also disappointing and frustrating as the actual artist is seeing people have the sheer nerve to sling mud at the buyer of all people for being willing to pay a high price for something I've made. Because, just like Dirt said, I feel that it does devalue the work itself and the effort I've put into it, and, to be blunt, it's very insulting. I personally have had just about a gutful of people who get their noses out of joint because I charge way over $50 as a base price for plush. It's naive and presumptuous and just shows how completely entitled and out of touch they are with the material setup and time costs, especially in a place where you can't just walk down the road and buy minky off the bolt.
I know it's hard when custom works are pricey, but this is a one-of-a-kind item that took me an extremely long time to complete and it was absolutely not something I could just throw together in an afternoon with $5 worth of materials. I know that some folks don't really see or understand the value in expensive material works, but as it is the current auction price is still less than the original commission fee was. It's also extraordinarily rarely that I even open a commission, so this is a very rare opportunity to get something that I've made which isn't a pony or a pokemon. And it's not like Dirt is using the money to go out partying either, she's only parting with Alexstraza because she desperately needs to so she can pay her bills.

As an artist myself I also agree with this, and i especially agree with this for people who work with physical objects where materials are very difficult to get a hold of especially in good quality. This is a fantastic plush, I wish everyone luck who bids and good luck to dirt for paying those bills.... I know the feeling all too well! much lorf dirt :) (*meanders around SL in her tokushi av*)
In all honesty I'm not saying that Tari didn't put her heart and soul into making this amazing plush, I'm simply saying i dislike when people just crush everyone that wishes to at least think they have a shot in a bid on an item they have an appreciation in and want. I really hope it does go for a lot, I didn't think I'd win it anyways cause i knew it might go this high, but when someone makes a "bid" that jumps more than a hundred dollars of the original price.... come on. That's all I'm saying.
