I don't recall if there was any special reason to draw this. Likely I just wanted to draw a robot mouse. Given that there are robotic mice, what do they eat? Not cheese or grain obviously. But how about electronic parts? Not the broken walkman in the grass. I had a ball drawing the close-up details of a front porch in the background too.

Sheets? There's athe corner of a brick house, and part of a wooden porch visible. Under the porche's floorboards is a crawl space that's closed off with strips of thin wood, two or three inches wide, nailed together in a criss-cross pattern that's common with houses of this sort, in this part of the world.
