Or as I have started calling her, Big Flo. I may do a bit of beefing up on her but as of right now she's all of 6ft long and probably weights up in the 1000lbs range.

Its rare that I slap hammer space magazines on things but this is one of those instances I'd probably slap one on it because of the need for a feed method without wanting to spend hours trying and failing to make a conventional feed system. This is a likely candidate for usage on the Phalanx Suits, and highly likely how the character that'd wear the suit thats going to be use in a RP site earned her nickname and later on reused that nickname as her Hero name.

Most phalanx suit users aren't nearly strong enough to weild a 40mm MAP even with their suits gears to the strength, Jesse however is an exception since her strength comes natural to her and she weilds a MAP like its an extension of her body.

Since the fielding of MAPs and their Phalanx Suit users at the start of the war numerous unorthodox kills have been recorded, such as shot down air crafts, obliterated columns of enemy armored vehicles, and the destruction of an enemy in atmosphere warship is attributed to the usage of a MAP. Though most of these claims wether recorded or not are dismissed as misuse of a weapons platform and their users urged to use their platforms properly.

Jesse at the time was one of 200, of the 600, 'Super' Soldiers issued a 40mm MAP among other weapons incoded into their digitizer watchs for use while in their Phalanx suits. Jesse is likely to still be in ownership of the MAP, but likely prefering to not use artillery unless custom rounds are in use to prevent unnecessary causualties when in persuit of a target.


Little story thing aside, the MAP is indeed a menacing weapon to anyone on the wrong end of it. With use any any lethal or non lethal rounds a target can be completely annihilated or at best incompacitated by gas rounds or stun nets. Though more often than not MAPs would be utilized for their shear destructive power against vehicles and structures. MAPs are capable of shooting straight or being angled to act as an mortar of sorts for longer range engagements or shelling.
