I had this picture stored up on my computer for a minute. I wasn't gonna share it at all because of how disappointed I was with the result. That's what I've been doing lately. Holding myself up to high-standards.. which consequently led to me treating my art-work as art-WORK.

Not just in my drawings, but in the songs I write.

I can't tell what lit the fuse. There's just been an overall change of mood in my life recently which set a more positive light and gave me the inspiration again. For art.

And so I push on.

This is my second attempt drawing this character, Rakesh. I personally liked the first one better, which is what I made such a fuss about. I call it 'GetFree', because in the picture he's being freed from a chain. Another reason being I've freed myself from the art-WORK mentality.
