YESS even though this is only the front view, I have FINALLY completed my chozo in time for New York Comic con! It required minimal sewing (except for the hands-which were hell to sew). However, it took a lot of glue and all parts that were sewn were entirely hand sewn (since sewing machines and I can never get to a mutual understanding). I also used some fabric paints and acrylic paints to make it look like it is "glowing". Sadly, you can only see the effect from the side. Also the eyes are made from resin which I have cast myself.
I started this project at the beginning of this year and slaved on it all summer whilst helping out a friend with her Loki cosplay. I am extremely proud of it since it is my first fursuit/creature cosplay. And luckily, I have been recognized by a few people and two people mistook me for a Space Pirate. XD
But the only pain in the ass part was getting the gloves on and off... and the back spike on the head kept hitting people in their faces. XD But it was super duper fun to wear this and I'll take more pictures of it when I have the time!
PLEASE NOTE I DID NOT TAKE THIS PICTURE! This picture is actually from this website: http://downtowntraveler.com/2012/10.....omic-con-2012/ credit goes there.
And yeah, I've been mistaken for a man from this website. XD hahahahaha!
Also ewww my costume looks all wrinkly here! ;A;
