Another old photo. This was taken on the corner of Chicago Ave and Michigan Ave in Chicago. This has to be one of my oldest WIP images. The first time I took this image was back in 2007, when all I had was a toy camera without a display. I took this photo, and that was it. In 2010, I retook the photo (the one you see here), and that time, I had a Kodak Easyshare point-and-shoot. I took this, and I thought that I was the coolest guy ever that I took this photo. Wow, how things change.
Anyways! I may retry this in a couple of weeks, given that the weather holds (crossing my fingers for clear skies, not warm days, lol). Let's see how much I have improved (possibly)!

Even though you had a toy camera this shot still came out pretty well. You have captured the most important part of the John Hancock Center which is its cross bars that hold up the entire structure. The photograph is quite clear, and you did a good job.
When you take photographs of the John Hancock try several angles, and going as far south as Chicago Avenue by the Water Tower was good idea for this shot. If you go to the west side of the intersection of Chicago & Michigan by the old Water Tower, then your shot will turn out all right.
Don't worry about your shot if the weather is not too good because you can always get photographs along Michigan Avenue and of the horse carts and the other sights and sounds there even if it is pouring rain. There are a lot of interesting places you can photograph along the Magnificant Mile (North Michigan Avenue), and don't worry if your images are not totally perfect. As shown through your other shots some of the best photographs happen when you least expect them.
