Even though I've expressed dissatisfaction with costume progress so far, with today's weather being what it was I decided to put together what I had and try some photos (which is quite a challenge to do alone, I have to say).
The only pieces missing here are the mask and gloves, and a belt. Though you can't really tell it here, the trousers/breeches(?) are wide at the bottom. The streamer on the staff is a test, I'm not sure whether not I'll keep it on. Two other issues come to mind; I need to loose some weight (duh) and that front panel/loincloth could really use some decoration, like some trim and/or some dyed symbols.
All told it seems to have held up to the weather well and didn't look too bad. I'm going to have to think hard on what to change.

Oh! Yeah, fabric-in-wind is really a thing for me. I just love attention to detail in fabric, getting all of the wrinkles and ripples and drapes right.
Makes me wonder if I should post a few other shots I got with my back to the camera, and you can really see what that big satin cape is doing. They probably would be a good reference.

The sketch I received for a pending commission from
digitslayer has absolutely delicious fabric detail. I may post the sketch if some of that gets lost in the finished piece. That sort of effort should not go unappreciated.
