oh, well its just a mouse that uses a ball that physically rolls around and is decoded by discs on each axis rather than a a small low res camera and LED light tracking the movement of the surface below it

You still draw great works with a ball mouse. :D
And ball mouses are so robust, just need routine cleaning and they will do great job.
