This guy looks like one of the bosses from Asura's Wrath. I think the designs in that game were Hindu-deity inspired. Is this from a similar origin?

Nope. I'm familiar with the term, but only know that they are some kind of evil beings. I think.

I really love the expression done on the subject matter. The brass shades smothered by central background light of white feels so eternal. I don't know whether it is a concrete being, an embodiment, or another form of conscience you have existent in the middle of the frame, but, to not brag, I am not afraid of it. In fact, you make this an art piece I can sympathize with. There is this romantic sadness coming from a taboo and otherworldly visage, a body that looks forbidden by the touch. I think about a break from some untold plane of existence with strong purpose to remind the undeserving of true feeling. For me, the phase between autumn and winter is a chaotically depressing time of year. Metaphysical agony veils upon the mind, and I am sometimes left without recourse in concern of nearing decisions. A stinging red illumination would probably be indicative of malicious nature, but in this case, it seems love breaches even the unbalanced permission of anomalous intent. It is like a neutral advocation of affection, an intervention of supernatural familiarity. 'Please, before you go, and possibly come back to another time I am not allowed to know, I want to say thank you. I feel forced that I can only wave and smile - I hope that is okay.
