I described her as a a 1920's flapper gal. She seemed like the type to be in some sort of speakeasy, pearls, feather boa-- shooting shet up when she doesn't get her way. Think Roxxy from Chicago.
A stylish lady who gets what she wants, and has everyone wrapped around her fingers. Elphaba, The Witch of the Western Sector, strives to be Empress of all of Oz. With the death of her sister Nessa, doors just seem to fling open for her.
The only thing standing in her way, is a girl, her dog, an emotional lion, a forgetful scarecrow, and a tin soldier who won't follow orders.
The tall guy is James E. Carolle. He's Elphie's right hand man, and cares for appearances more than substance. He's her publicist and makes Elphaba appear more like a softhearted lady then the monopolist she is.
The people to the right are flying monkeys; working on breeds. I'm thinking baboons, spider monkeys, and capuchins.
