The tall guy is James E. Carolle. He's Elphie's right hand man, and cares for appearances more than substance. He's her publicist and makes Elphaba appear more like a softhearted lady then the monopolist she is.

The people to the right are flying monkeys; working on breeds. I'm thinking baboons, spider monkeys, and capuchins.
