I caught a legit shiny Venipede... Now it's my level 87 Shiny Scolipede. I love her

yeah scolipede and volcarona are my fav Gen V bugs

Volcarona having amazing Spc.attack stat with quiver dance.

Ill never understand the attraction for Scolipede, it just seems a weird choice to pick when considering all the other popular pokes that furries pick are like Gardevoir, Lucario, Zoroark etc.

Its.. so.. squishy and cute. (:3 I do quite like scolipede but I'm afraid cutest bug of gen 5 has to go to joltik for me.

Scolipede is a cool dude. Fast, strong as heck, and rages against the machine. So hard to hate.

Lately I'm trying to get to grips with using Photoshop myself - and because I like your style/approach I though I might ask if on a piece like this you use a separate shading layer and colour layer (using opacity overlays so the shading shows through the colour) - or do you paint the shadows and highlights using pure colour?

To me it looks like you're using pure colour to do the shades and highlights here - but I might be wrong.

I've only really used Illustrator until now so I'm kinda struggling to get to grips with 'painting' instead of using solid blocks of colour.

One of the many good things that came from Gen V was the abundance of kickass bug-types. This Cuddlebug being one of them.
