its beautiful but 30$ starting bid is... a little... high... to me..

I really don't wanna give him up :C But if I must, I would rather it be for a better amount than most of mine have sold for in the past. They've never really gone much of anywhere, I'm sorry.

Cancelling would be fine too, if no one bids. It's more a gamble on if anyone wants it as much as I do, really. ;P That's why the starting bid is where it is.

It seems a bit too high, i dont think 30$ is a good starting price for a simple character design like this, why not try 15$ or so?

Simplicity isn't the only factor in determining the worth of it.

I can understand you do not wish to part with the design, but why not start with a bid at $15. In a way you will still be earning quite a bit without over pricing. In this case that is what I am seeing here. I can understand if this character came with more art, but in which case this guy looks far too simple to be worth $30 in my eyes.

I undersell myself more often than not. Here, I'm taking a gamble on selling what I really think it's worth.

If something of mine doesn't sell, it simply means that I value it more highly than the people who see it. And that is alright too.

I actually think $30 is a good starting place. No sense in undercharging yourself. You are basically giving up the rights to this character, and the design is lovely. I'd say, let it run for $30 bucks, if no one bids, then either keep him ot lower it to like $25 :)

If no one bids with a starting bid of $30, I'll be happy to keep it. I think of the starting bid like "If I were to bid on this character, how high would I go before I decided someone else could take it.

Which is how it should be! No sense in underselling yourself or a character you actually love.

lol @ people saying the bid is too high... I've seen some characters sell for hundreds >_>

It seems out of hand. But I don't plan on lowering, because as I mentioned before, it's as much as I would bid to for the same character, should I have seen it in an auction, and I'd prefer that if it sells only for the starting bid, that I should be satisfied, rather than disappointed in the amount while also losing the design, which I really like, and have been thinking of for a long time ;n;
