I saw a protest one day and I realized that sometimes even though that voices from the people of this country have the right to be said, it doesn't mean that not everything said will let finnish. Sometimes you wonder about the concept of what is known or just assumed by an individual. If there's a way to be heard, not everything in that calibur should be from an audio way of hearing but by other means as well.
If someone knows too much or the other way around, the powers that be will not let it spread, like a virus. We seen all of it happen from time and time again. *shrugs*
That's prettymuch what this sums up. Either that or I didn;t have enough coffee this morning. x__x;

the only actual example of anything like serious artistic censorship happening recently in the US that I can recall is when the David Wojnarowicz's work at the Met was censored/removed in 2010, ostensibly for being "offensive and blasphemous" but, actually, I believe, because Wojnarowicz's work dealt heavily with gay issues and also religion, and some old stodges found that incorrigible. So really, it's not about any sort of silly state-sponsored conspiracy against artistic freedom. It was just anti-gay, not anti-art. I think we live in a pretty artistically free society.
we artist have to fight for our rights! our weapons of choice? Pencils, brushes, pastells, tablets and styliuses, spray cans, stickers paper ink and paste. we fight for our right to speak what we want and to represent it in the style we choose. let noone tell you that your message is wrong!
