He-man and chipmunks two of my most favorite things melded together like the chocolate and peanut butter of a Reases peanut butter cup. Ah... such epic dreams this sleep deprived Chipmunk's mind can cook up. He He He X333

Hehe, same here! ^^ I had most of the toys and even had a lot of the role play gear like the plastic armor and muscles, and plastic swords. Some years ago, I had a He-Man power sword custom made by this guy who used to do replica swords from wood and leather. Its made from furniture grade walnut and the guard is made out of leather, but its awesome.
I had every thing in the entire toy line except for a few obscure action figures and the Attack Track vehicle. Though admittedly I feel like a complete dumbass for selling everything off when I was 15 given the fact that MTOU is still just as popular with at least the fans as it was back in the day.
Awwww, yeah, as far as I know, my MOTU stuff is still in a toy closet at my parents house with all sorts of other old toys. The thing is, a lot of them were broken or had lost an arm or leg or accessory. I played with my toys a LOT so they had wear and tear, but I was able to get a box set of re-released classic MOTU toys a while back, and I still have those in the box.
BTW, you have seen the new MOTU Classics line right? Man, I wish I had these when I was a kid.

I have a few of em. They're on https://www.mattycollector.com and they're on sale at various times.
I had the attack track and most everything else. Only thing I don't remember having is Snake Mountain. I sold all my He-Man stuff on eBay shortly before moving, a couple years ago. Now wishing I had kept some of it. Stinkor still stunk, faintly. Mossman had lost his scent. Had bout three He-Mans and two Skeletors where well meaning relatives would get me figures I already had for Xmas and birthdays.
Great job on the pic, btw. He-Man and chipmunks, two of my favorite things. My first real love was Dale from The Rescue Rangers, after all ^^;

He-Man and The Masters of the Universe!! *Sighs contently and lets the teen memories come flooding back*
I think it was #1 in It's time slot in the year 1983 on WTAF 29 (Back when it was Taft owned rather than Fox owned).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WTXF-TV
It aired at 3PM here... I was 13 at the time, feeling MUCH more like I was on top of the world back then (emotionally and physically), and living over in suburban Trenton, NJ (Hamilton Twp, NJ) at the time.
It was the first animated show on in the after school lineup, and I followed the whole series religiously throughout It's entire run.

Also caught "Secret of the Sword" in theaters...

However, compared to the Filmation cartoon, the live action movie with Dolph Lundren as He-Man in 1987 blew large chunks.
Anyways, let me just say that this was certainly a nice surprise to see this art piece.
*Instant fave*

Something funny happened when I saw your facebook update for this pic. See I'm watching both you and george takai, and facebook updated just as I saw he-man tamias before george put out a pic of himself in a spandex airplane jumpsuit and it looked like the sword of power turned tamias into george takai. OH MYYYyyy.
There's an episode that comes to mind--one in which He-Man tells his viewers (during the Moral Lesson at the end) that violence solves nothing and thus is bad.
Problem #1) This is He-Man, a guy who wields a great big sword, and I don't mean the one under his loincloth.
Problem #2) He gets into a fight with a demon, using violence to solve the problem of his hide being in danger.
Problem #3) He gets into a fight with a wizard, using violence to solve the problem of the wizard planning... something evil.
Problem #4) Two dragons get into a fight, using violence to solve the problem of... well, each other (At least the evil dragon tries; the good one, par for the course, succeeds.)
But then, when Moral Guardians wail Think Of The Children, why should we expect them to actually think?
