Fox and Novaris couple badges
Badge commissions for
novaris and his mate, fox!
Novaris is a blue husky with purple eyes, and Fox is a red fox with green eyes!
I liked doing these two since the marking transitions more blended, it really makes them look soft!

I advertise a lot of places where I think I will get attention. On Twitter, FA, Livejournal, forums, etc.
Advertising isn't everything, though! I built up many examples by drawing badges for myself, gifts for friends, and via trade with others before tackling the commission and paid art world.
I see you have a few examples in your gallery, and that's awesome! Draw more examples! The more badge examples the better, especially the more examples of a specific type of badge, like your basic badges, then later people may come to you for the advanced ones! (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8909375/ are very nice examples)! I stick to one style of badge primarily (just look at these! http://twitter.yfrog.com/nuxx6kvj ) The bigger body of work you have the bigger chance a new audience member will see what you are able to do and decide they want to pay you to make something for them! Also having more examples will come in handy when it comes to practice, timing yourself for pricing, and other things including improving technical skill and tackling different facial angles and species! If you do best at one species or facial angle, try to find people who are willing to do trades (add to your examples!) who have characters as other species. Be honest with them if its the first time trying that kind of species, but let them know you're up to the challenge! The worst someone can say is "No" or they can't right now. Thats ok!
I have also been doing this now for a lot of years (over 13 at this point) now... always trying to improve with every drawing, when I started offering commissions, I didnt get a whole lot of people jumping on board (here is some of my early art to show how far I have progressed! http://us-p.vclart.net/vcl/Artists/.....mukilteo12.gif )! 13 years later I am at a point where I can say I regularly get badge commissions, but it definitely wasn't easy, I needed that body of work behind me to back me up and show off what I could do!
I hope this is helpful! I thought carefully about what to say as a response and I hope this is thoughtful and encouraging!

Thank you so much! I really had no direction, I don't know anyone who is artistic let alone who can give me advice. So I'm kinda on my own as far as that goes. And on a different note, thank you for having all of those fursuit tutorials on your website, it helped me out a lot:)
