Eddie the snackdragon is partial to fruit, so when he spotted the Mason jar of fresh strawberry jam, he leapt up to its shelf in a flurry of sapphire wings, mantling protectively atop his treasure while his hatchmates dashed amongst the plates of cookies and pints of ice cream. Sure, it looked like everyone else was going for the sweets - but Eddie knew that was just because they hadn't yet spotted the shelf of preserves.
Now if he could just work out how to open the lid...
Polymer clay & acrylic paint, topped w/satin varnish. Jam jar is wood, with a laquered paper label. Dime provided for size reference; yes, they are wee.
Eddie will be sold at conventions this season (or $10 (or Note me if you'd like to snag him before that; he'll travel well).

Well, he is quite small....So long as one keeps one's pantry securely locked, I'd imagine he'll go through about a regular-sized jar of jam a week.
I would not recommend allowing him into a jam/preserves shop, though - odds are it'd take a king's ransom (and possibly a wheelbarrow) to get him out! ^_^;
