Kid Keys animation "Magic Mirror" (Flash Animation)
Here's another animation from the Kid Keys typing tutor game. This was the intro to the "Magic Mirrors" game sequence and afforded me another opportunity to do some fun lip synch. I don't know how many kids actually enjoyed playing these games or not... I certainly had no direct contact with the target audience at the time. My own term for children's educational software was "Vegetableware", which meant that nobody ever bought these games because they were truly desired, rather because "they were good for you". After the big layoffs in 2003 the Vivendi / Universal conglomerate sold off Knowledge Adventure, but despite the reorg KA exists today which just goes to show that people will still pay to eat their veggies.

Woo, more! I love this spritework-- I thought the gifs you posted a ways back were some great animation, and it's really cool getting to see your work in its original context.
Also, something interesting I spotted: In some of the games you worked on, Roz Gibson is also credited! Did you know him back then?

I don't know why I missed responding to this months ago, but thank you for the compliment. Yes, I've known Roz since at least 1996 and was working at the company before she was hired. On an additionally trivia note, the artist behind the Cutey Bunny comic books was also part of the team working at Davidson and Associates (before it merged with Knowledge Adventure).
This was released years and years ago... probably 1999 or 2000 so it's no surprise that you won't find much information about it. I'd be very surprised if you found much about it from Youtube.
