Love the use of the Toronto Blue Jays font, very clever!

I first saw the font I said "Sega!" Though I did realize it is the Toronto Blue Jay font, too. Nice.

I'm honestly a Cubs fan, but happened to also like the Blue Jays when they had Tom Henke, Joe Carter, and George Bell.

I'm a Braves fan, myself. Always been. I missed the days with Greg Maddux, Sid Bream, Raphael Belliard, Dave Justice, and "The Fred McGriff "The Crime Dog"

I can remember way back at the '92 World Series when the Jays got over on the Braves. The first of many let downs... *ahem*... chokes the Braves gave me growing up.

I thought the 1st was '91 against the Twins, when Kirby Puckett hit a walk-off homer in game 7. Puckett was another great in my book, sad that his career ended when a bean ball blinded him in 1 eye, but man was he a clutch hitter!

Yeah, you're right. It was in '91 but for me it was '92. In the youth of my years and I was really starting to get into Braves baseball.

Yeah, What a great career Kirby had. Ended a little too soon. RIP

And it's obvious to me that you are a baseball fanatic!

Before you start going over my head,
Confession: I still watch baseball on occasions but not as much as I used to nor am I into as much as I was. Still like to watch and play, though. As for keeping player stats, you got me on that.

I mostly follow the Cubs but know about Lopez's upbringing from having grown up in Burlington, IA and worked for the Bees as a teenager when they were with the White Sox and Royals.

Nice! Baseball was a huge part of you growing up. I admire that. Wish I could've played in a little league or in high school. But a life changing accident kept me from playing most sports that involved any type of contact as per doctor's orders. ;_; Things happen, if it didn't then we prolly wouldn't be having this convo right here, right now.

I use to follow the minor league team here in Savannah, The Sand Gnats, formerly known as the Cardinals. Most recent notable ball player that I know played for the SGs is Adrian Beltre.

And a little fact, Sacha Baren Cohen's Borat character sang the National Anthem here.

I never played either, the sports I did were track, cross-country, soccer, and basketball growing up. My main job with the Bees was press box gopher, though I also stood in as their mascot Buzz many times.

As for the Braves, they had several greats during that era. Javy Lopez even played Minor League ball for my hometown team the Burlington Braves (now the Bees) back in the late 80's. I was kind of disgusted when their fans gave John Rocker a standing O when he returned from his suspension for bigotted comments though, but what do you expect from the city that hired Don Imus after WFAN fired him for racism?
