I have admired the artwork of  fredvegerano ever since I first saw it, which was unfortunately last year at some point. I say unfortunately because I wish I had encountered his work sooner! This year he has reduced his presence on FA a great deal because of eye-related health problems, as he stated in his journals, and I'm very sad to hear that. I hope he gets better. But I have noticed that he has been drawing a few things lately, which makes me happy! Everything he draws seems to have such charm and personality and heart. There's just a sweetness there that could only come from a very warm-hearted person.

I recently got a note from him, asking me if it was OK if he drew me. What a happy surprise! I replied that it would be an honor. And here is the result. I think this is so wonderfully beautiful that it brings tears to my eyes. This is the first time he's drawn a baby girl rabbit, he told me. He said he drew the line art and his sister did the coloring. I'm waving hi to everybody from the land of bright happy colors! That sounds like a nice place to be. Anyway, he said I could do anything I want with it, so I would like to share it with friends, and I hope that is OK.
