WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Back in 1983, the new Williamsbug Minutemen basketball team graced the floor in stylish new uniforms and a shiny new basketball court, ready to prove to the world that they're a team that would make their fans proud.

Twenty-nine years later, the desire remains to do the same.

This season marks the thirtieth year that the Williamsburg Minutemen basketball club has been in the Furry Basketball Association. So this year, the team will be wearing this logo as a patch on their jersey. 30 stars for 30 years.

The season-long celebration will highlight special moments and players in the team's history. There will be many special promotions, and the fans will vote on players from Williamsburg's history for a 12-fur 30th Anniversary Team, which will be released some time later this year.
