One of the things I would love to take up is Scrimshaw. My grandfather did the art form and I loved his detailed work. My art style is not close to his caliber but it is still something I would love to try. Scrimshaw was usually done on whale tooth, ivory, and other animal products that are now illegal but I want to find a synthetic medium that would work close to that.
