This is frickin' awesome! :3 Looks just like the game art.

This is hands-down the most gorgeous, uplifting, inspiring, and authentic (yes, meaning it really lookes like a page out of the Okami art book) Okami fan art I've ever seen.

Once again you've shown what difference you make in your art when you draw out of your own heart... these personal arts flow with sheer, visible passion for the subject... your admiration for Goddess Amaterasu is absolute.

speaking of howls... hmmm I wonder where I can find an audio clip of Ammy howling... she howls in two different ways and I really like the deeper one. It sounds so beautiful and sad.. x3

My reaction "OH WOW!!" Breathtaking work! I have to say honestly this is the kind of work I like seeing from you..not necessarily of this style persay..but more in regards to I can tell you enjoyed creating this and you put a piece of your soul into the final creation. I SAY MORE like this :D..OH and I heard from Baggy you draw a lot of wildlife art in your private sketchbooks..well I encourage you to share them. If you dont like the idea of putting them in your formal gallery I at least encourage you to put them in your scraps. I'm not sure about anyone else here on FA, but I certainly like seeing diversity from artists ^_^..and I love quad art!

I'm really glad that my drawing could have created a reaction like that, esspecially from such a fabulous artist like yourself :) And yes, I definately enjoyed working on this, and I'm planning on working more from the heart, and less on commissions that I have no feelings for.

Oh, and about the wildlife sketchies. I'll post the ones I have scanned so far to my scraps, and I'll scan the sketchbook ones later on.

When you said this drawing was turning out really well, I didn't think that it would be beyond anything I have ever seen you produce. Simply breathtaking, absolutely amazing.

Everything in this picture just comes together like no other. The composition, the colour, the shading and highlights, everything. Hands down this is simply one of THE best Okami fan arts I have ever seen.

You have outdone yourself this time, and as many others have pointed out, when you draw from your heart and let yourself go, you do simply amazing work that leaves me, and others, breathless.

I really hope you do more art from Okami, or try your hand at doing some anthro art in a japanese style like this. You seem to have mastered the style with ease and carry a skill in it like no other anthro artist has before you. The best art doesn't leave people speechless, it inspires them, and you have certainly done that.

Thanks, yeah it turned out good, I'm happy with it. You really didn't have to try to compete with Balaa and Bagheera's comments though XD It's thoughtful, but you mostly just said what they said in different words and it just makes it appear that you tried to beat them with the comment.

For the record I wasn't trying to beat them with my comment...I really like it a lot, and I mean a LOT. It's one of the best pieces I have seen you produce and it inspired me a lot this morning and I had nowhere to put it except into writing because I was on my way to work.

Okami is one of my favorite games of all times, not just because of the Amerterasu, but because of the water color style of animation! But yeah, like someone else commented, this looks like a page right out of the book, 'tis sweet stuff :D
