I've been actively shaking off my art drought and decided to draw a pricture of my furry buddy Streek. He's been in Japan for a number of years so I've settled on a very Asian themed drawing. His costume is based on the ceremonial ones the Japenese Emperors worn and whole drawing borrowed from several other sources... from the movie Hero (where the candles come from) to Genghis Khan (origionaly the theme was going to be more Mongolian then Japanese). The colors in the drawing were done with Streek's orange fur in mind... the dark blue background is ment to bring him to the foreground. The candles trail the viewer's eye to the guard lion.
There is also double meaning in here, as always. ;)
